www.watch-phones.org.uk (”the Site”) is owned and operated by CCL (”the Company”), a company that works to bring online retailers’ products and services to the attention of new customers.
Use of the Site is subject to these terms and conditions (”Terms”) and the laws of England and Wales apply. By using or attempting to use the Site all individuals and organisations (”Users”) are deemed to accept the Terms.
The Site is operated as a free service to Users. Use of the Site creates no legal relationships between Users and the Company other than as specified below.
Whilst the Company seeks to operate the Site to a reasonable standard, errors, omissions, service interruptions and delays in updating content may occur and the Company does not accept any ongoing obligation or responsibility to operate the Site or to maintain it to any particular standard.
Information contained on the Site in relation to other organisations or websites has not been verified by the Company. Neither the Company nor any of its directors, officers or employees gives any representation or warranty as to the accuracy, veracity, completeness or reliability of any information on the Site or on other websites which may be accessed via the Site, nor as to the fitness of the Site for any particular purpose, nor as to the safety, fitness for purpose or quality of products or services offered by other companies referred to on the Site or whose websites can be visited by clicking on links contained within the Site. It is the responsibility of Users to independently verify information obtained from or via the Site. Under no circumstances shall the Company or any of its directors, officers or employees be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential or other losses or damages suffered as a result of Use of the Site other than as provided for by law.
The Company operates as an authorised affiliate for certain merchants whose websites can be visited from the Site. Such relationships do not affect prices offered to Users by such merchants.
All content on the Site including text and imagery is protected by copyright and may not be reproduced or appropriated in any form or via any medium without advance written permission from the Company except that private individuals may print or retain copies of pages from the site for their own personal and non-commercial use.
Users agree that by contacting the Company via the Site they are transfering to the Company any and all intellectual property rights relating to the content of such communications. Users are legally liable for the content of any material that they submit to the Site including for claims of libel, invasion of privacy and copyright infringement and Users agree to indemnify the Company from any claims made against it in respect of any content submitted by the User.
Use of the Company’s Trade Marks or of substantively similar names or phrases including registering them as domain names is prohibited by law. Other Trade Marks referred to on the Site are acknowledged as belonging to their respective owners. It is the responsibility of Users to keep checking these terms, which may be amended by the Company from time to time without notice.
Privacy policy
The Company does not collect any personally identifiable information from Users. As a result of computers being used to visit the Site, the Company’s hosting provider may gather and store anonymous information such as internet browser versions and IP addresses. Such information does not identify Users personally to the Company and is used in aggregate form to enable the Company to manage the Site and optimise browsing experience for Users. Should a User seek to abuse the Site, their IP address and other information may be submitted to law enforcement agencies and ISPs in order that action may be taken against the User.
The Site includes links to other websites that are not under the Company’s control and that have their own terms of use and privacy policies.
